Remote Communication - Connection

3GS Controller to Modem

Connect the modem serial port to

controller serial port 1. If you wish

to connect the modem to another

port, refer to the 3GS Hardware

manual for instructions.

3GS Controller to DM1200

Connect the modem serial port to

controller serial port 2. The control

terminal (CNTL) is located in the middle

section of the 3GS main terminal block.

At the PC ...

Use an RS232 cable to connect a modem to the PC serial port.
